PFF calls meeting of AID-27 coaches

KARACHI: In a bid to analyse the achievements of the coaches working at grassroots level and to assign them a fresh task, the football governing body in the country (PFF) has called a meeting of the AID-27 coaches which would be held at FIFA Football House in Lahore on July 1 and 2.

The secretary of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Col Ahmad Yar Khan Lodhi told ‘The News’ on Saturday that all the AID-27 coaches, working at different centres of the country, have been invited for the two-day conference to have a debate on and to analyse what progress they have made so far in imparting training to the young footballers of different age groups in their respective centres.

He said that the services of these qualified coaches would also be taken in the different Youth Development Centres (YDC) which the federation intends to establish in twelve centres of the country to realise its dream of achieving the target of Vision 2020 which the federation has unveiled in its Congress meeting on July 21.

The coaches who are invited to the meeting are: Bilal Ahmed Butt, Nouman Ibrahim, Rana Zahir Ahmad, Tanveer Ahmad, Muhammad Habib, Shehzad Anwar, Sajjad Mehmood Khan, Muhammad Rashid, Hassan Baloch, Nasir Ismail, Salim Patni, Zafar Iqbal, Niaz Ahmad Aabro, Abdul Karim, Najibullah Najmi, Haji Abdul Sattar, Gohar Zaman, Qazi Wajid Ali, Fazl-e-Ghaffar, Saeedullah, Faisal Amir Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Saleem, Haji Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Asghar, Iftikhar Ahmad Ghani, Muhammad Asghar and Muhammad Siddique.
